Pretty in pink…and black (View larger)
T-Mobile has been absent from most events we attend, mostly because they haven’t launched a Smartphone in a long time. So we were surprised to see them at DigitalLife, even more so when we saw a Juicy pink Sidekick and a black Mister Cartoon version as well.
In addition to the pretty hardware, Danger is planning a software update for all Sidekick II’s.
A new enhanced browser to be available later this year will provide more features than ever before; now, users will be able to program their TiVo, manage their NetFlix rentals and RSVP to the hottest holiday parties via Evite.
These trendy new phones are as much about fashion as function. Both models will go on sale October 24th in limited quantities online and at a few T-Mobile retail stores in Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. Of course, to look good and make a statement, you have to pay for it. The special edition units will go for $399, $150 more than the Plain Jane version that’s available now.
