This comes as no shock to regular bargainPDA.com visitors. Our piece in May highlighted this new product, however pictures were quickly supressed by Kyocera’s attorneys.
Anyway, the new device is due out some time in the 4th quarter of this year. A little later than the Samsung device, but it looks to have more power and the SDIO expansion slot. I’m impressed with what I see and hope to be first in line for the purchase. A few other notes, The 7135 includes CDMA2000 1X technology, giving it a theoretical download speed of 153 Kbps. One problem, the CDMA2000 1x network isn’t up yet and is supposed to be live until later this Summer (read: hopefully this Summer!). However, the 7135 is a Trimode device using CDMA digital PCS, CDMA digital cellular, and analog. So look for this to be on the Sprint PCS network.
