The LG eXpo is a newly-announced smartphone that will offer a combination of high-end features not found in any other device. AT&T will release this model next week.
It will be one of the first to run Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional on a 1 GHz processor. In addition, it will set itself apart from the pack by using biometric security in the form of a built-in fingerprint scanner.
A Standard Design
The LG eXpo will have a sliding design, with a 3.2-inch, WVGA touchscreen, and a landscape-oriented sliding QWERTY keyboard.
This quad-band GSM phone will have tri-band 3G mobile broadband (7.2 Mbps HSDPA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a GPS receiver.
It will also sport a 5 megapixel camera with flash, a microSD/SDHC memory card slot, and a 1,500 mAh battery.
On top of the standard Windows Mobile user interface will be LG’s S-Class 3D UI.
Overall, this smartphone will be 4.5 inches by 2.2 inches by 0.7 inches.
