The news comes from Korean tech blog site Asiae, which released the purported specs of the upcoming device. According to the post, the new LG Vu will continue to feature the same unconventional 4:3 aspect ratio that its predecessors employed. The screen itself will measure in at a sizeable 5.2-inches with a 1280 x 960 pixel resolution, while the device will also feature a 13MP rear-facing camera along with LTE-Advanced data network support.
The device will likely run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) or later, and LG is expected to launch the Vu 3 in South Korea by the end of September. If the leak proves accurate, it is possible that LG could use the upcoming IFA tradeshow as a platform to officially reveal the device.
