Mazingo Goes Out of Business

Due to financial difficulties, Mazingo has stopped offering its multimedia and web content service for handhelds.

Mazingo allowed web content to be stored on a handheld for later viewing. However, it was best known for providing multimedia, like short films, cartoons, and TV shows.

Users could download some content for free, but a subscription fee was required in order to access the multimedia. According to a statement from the company, the subscriptions weren’t enough to keep the service going.

The statements says, “Mazingo would like to thank everyone who has been involved with developing and using the Mazingo service. Regrettably, the service can no longer be offered due to the cost of content versus the revenue derived.”
