The Windows Phone 7 Connector is now available in the Mac App Store, and will allow users who have smartphones running Windows Phone 7, but do their computing with Mac OS X, to sync in harmony.

Microsoft announced the connector in October and released a beta version shortly after. And now it’s beta no more, with the full version letting users:

  • Windows Phone 7 ConnectorSync music, movies, TV Shows and podcasts from their iTunes library to WP7 devices
  • Sync photos and videos from their iPhoto library
  • Retrieve photos and videos, taken on a Windows Phone, and automatically import them into an existing iPhoto library
  • Browse and preview media items located on the phone
  • Download and install operating system updates for Windows Phone phones

The Windows Phone 7 Connector is available at no cost, and has, so far, garnered generally positive reviews from users on the Mac App Store.
