Microsoft’s First Windows Phone 7 Update Will Make Future Updates Easier

Microsoft has begun sending out a new version of Windows Phone 7. However, this is not the highly-anticipated update that will bring support for copy and paste. Instead, this is a preliminary update to make the update process better.

Samsung Focus from AT&TExactly what’s being changed isn’t clear, but Michael Stroh said on the official Windows Phone Blog said it “is designed to improve the software update process itself.”

Stroh went on to say that its the first step toward “future goodie-filled updates”, such as the one scheduled for next month that will add cut, copy and paste support to this operating system.

Microsoft has already begun distributing this system software update, and will continue to do so over the next several days.
