Astraware Boardgames Brings Classic Board Games to Mobiles
Gaming is one of the most popular activities on mobile devices, and Astraware has been offering quality titles for years. In the most recent release, Astraware Boardgames, a collection of eight classic boardgames have been collected into one gaming package.
This includes Chess, Backgammon, Ludo, Checkers, Reversi, Nine Men’s Morris, Snakes and Ladders, and Tic Tac Toe.
All eight games feature three levels of play, game specific sounds, automatic saving, and user profiles. PDAs and smartphones running Palm OS Garnet and Windows Mobile 2003, 2003SE, 5.0, and 6.0 are supported.
Astraware Boardgames is available at an introductory price of 9.95 (regularly $19.95). To purchase or download a trial version, visit the Astraware web site.
Jaiku Purchased By Google
Google is continuing its push into those things mobile with the purchase of the social network/RSS aggregator Jaiku. Terms of the acquisition have not been released, but it is assumed that Jaiku, and its mobile application, will provide another avenue toward enabling Google’s services on various mobile devices.
More information is available on Jaiku web site.
