Nokia Introduces Mail For Exchange 2.1

Nokia’s Mail for Exchange application has been a popular means for Symbian/S60 users to tie into Microsoft Exchange systems. Version 2.1 adds device compatability with the N82 and N95 8 GB as well as performance and usability improvements.

In addition to the updates for Mail for Exchange, the Company Directory aspect of this application has been spun off as a standalone application. Company Directory enables the Global Address Lookup (GAL) feature on the mobile device.

Mail for Exchange is a free download and compatible with Nokia E Series and some N Series handsets. It can be downloaded from the Nokia Software for Business web site.


Astraware Plantastic Released

Astraware has been on top of popular game titles and gameplay for mobile devices for some time, and its latest release Plantastic seeks to continue the trend. Plantastic is a combination puzzle and strategy game in which bouquets are created from groups of brightly colored flowers to clear them from the play board and reach each level’s bloom target. Featuring five play modes with different planting patterns and 3 difficulty levels, Plantastic is primed to be another solid title from Astraware.

This game is playable on Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices. A trial version is available, or Plantastic can be purchased for $19.95 from the Astraware web site.


Agenda One Updated by Developer One

Replacements to the built-in personal information (PIM) applications are a frequent addition to many mobile devices, and Agenda One has been a popular choice for Windows Mobile devices since its introduction. Version 2 of this application brings new and improved features such as templates and several new contacts options.

Your Call for Palm OS Updated

As smartphones become more capable, multitasking is becoming a much needed feature. Your Call for Palm OS has been updated to address stability, performance, and during/after-call tasks. Version 2.2 also adds the ability to send text messages once the call is ended and various localization related improvements

To update from a previous version of Your Call, use the ‘Check for Updates’ option in the menu. Your Call is available in Standard and Professional variants, each offering enhanced functionality over the standard actions of the built-in Phone application.
