Palm Centro Now Available in Pink

Palm CentroThe Palm Centro has been a hot seller for Palm and Sprint, with users siting the ease of use and size of the device as the main points of interest. And to capitalize on the looks department, Palm has announced the availability of a pink version of this smartphone that is now available for Sprint customers.

The Palm Centro is available from the Palm web site and Sprint retail outlets.

Fictionwise Acquires eReader Ebook Business Unit From Motricity

Ebooks have come into the mainstream eye a bit more lately, and with such popularity there’s often some consolidation in the market. In a recent move, Fictionwise, a popular ebook library and seller, has purchased the eReader ebook business unit from Motricity.

eReader/ is one of longest-running ebook retailers with a large customer base and over 23,000 titles available from major publishers and authors. Electronic books from work on a wide variety of handheld devices via the eReader application.

Fictionwise says it plans to maintain as an independent web site to capitalize on its strong brand and loyal customer base. However, Fictionwise plans to build on the success of the eReader ebook format by expanding the product to function on an even wider range of handheld devices, allowing customers the flexibility to read on whatever devices best meet their needs.
