PhatPad 4.0 Now Available

PhatWare Corp., has released PhatPad 4.0, the next generation of its notes organizer for Pocket PCs, as well as other devices running Microsoft operating systems.

One of the most notable new features in the latest version of PhatPad is support for typed text, in addition to this application’s long running support for digital ink. Typed text can be inserted into new or existing PhatPad documents in the form of text objects or labels.

PhatPad 4.0 is currently available for a special introductory price of $29.95. It, or a free 30-day trial version, can be downloaded from the PhatWare web site.

 

SlingPlayer Mobile Now Supports the Latest Windows Mobile Smartphones

Sling Media has introduced an upgrade to its SlingPlayer Mobile software that, for the first time, includes support for two of this season’s latest Windows Mobile Smartphones, the Cingular BlackJack and the T-Mobile Dash.

This application allows these devices to watch the TV programs streamed from Sling Media’s Slingboxes.

Treo 680 Launched in Singapore

The Palm Treo 680 is now avalable on the SingTel network in Singapore.

This device, which debuted in the United States only last month, runs Palm OS Garnet and has the same form factor as past Treo devices, but is slightly slimmer and has no antenna.
