Electric Pocket Launches Ringo Ringtone Manager for Windows Mobile Smartphones

Playing music is a growing segment of use for mobile phone. Probably the largest area of use has been that of ringtones. Recently, there has been the release of Ringo ringtone Manager, that brings the versatility of MP3 and WMA ringtones to the Windows Media Smartphone Supported devices include the Motorola Q, T-Mobile Dash, and Samsung Blackjack.

Ringo features include: use of any MP3 or WMA music track as a ringtone; setting unique ringtones for friends and groups; and the ability to assign alert tones to specific groups and contacts for SMS messages.

Securely Lock S60 Smartphones with Phone Guardian

Phone Guardian is a new security application for Series 60.3 Symbian smartphones. If the device is lost or stolen, this application will allow the user to secure and lock it remotely by sending an SMS message.

In addition, it’s possible to auto lock when the phone is idle for a certain time

Once locked the phone remains secured. It will not be possible to use the mobile or to uninstall the Phone Guardian software. It can only be unlocked via an SMS with a password.
