Transplant GPS, the worldwide distributor of Emtac products, is now offering the Emtac mini-S3 Bluetooth GPS Receiver. This is powered by the SiRFstarIII chipset for fast acquisition times and the ability to maintain a GPS fix, even in tough conditions.

As it’s a Bluetooth device, the mini-S3 is usable with virtually every handheld and smartphone currently on the market. And it uses a mini-USB port for charging, which means it can be recharged from a wall plug, desktop, or laptop.

New SnapperMail Version Available

Snapperfish has released a new version SnapperMail, its popular email application for Palm OS handhelds and smartphones. This new version fixes a few bugs in the previous one.

The main problems it takes care of were synchronizing issues experienced by some users with certain IMAP servers. It also takes care of rendering issues, such as Outlook business cards sent without a message, and US-ASCII messages sent as UTF-8.
