TreoTwit Brings Twitter to Palm Smartphones

The Twitter text and social awareness phenomena has come to Garnet OS Treo devices in the form of MiTreo’s TreoTwit, which allows users to send and receive Twitters. It also includes shortcuts ("Open" combobox) that open the more common Twitter pages in Blazer.

SplashData Releases SplashNotes

One of the most popular reasons for getting a PDA is to establish a method of organization. SplashData’s release of SplashNotes extends this organizational ability of handhelds to including the ability to create outlines, notes, and checklists for nearly any project.

SplashNotes is one part handheld application and another part desktop software (Windows). From the desktop software, users can view, edit, and synchronize SplashNotes data with a Garnet OS handheld or smartphone. It also offers the ability to import and export MS Word documents.

Palm Treo 750 Now Available in Italy from 3 Italia

3 Italia launched the Palm Treo 750 smartphone today, a Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone which enables this carrier’s customers to access the Internet with the 3G cellular-wireless standard HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access).
