Palm and AT&T are hosting a contest called the "Palm Centro’s The Best, Worst & Funniest Pick-Up Line Contest", where they are asking entrants to post their best, worst, or funniest pick-up lines. Beginning April 5, and going to May 17, users can submit and vote on submitted pick-up lines for a chance to win an AT&T Palm Centro in a daily drawing.
For each entry, one per day, a person qualifies to win a Palm Centro on AT&T. Entrants also have a chance to win a Royal Caribbean cruise., and are also eligible for the grand prize featuring a VIP party in Las Vegas the winner and five friends.

Bluelounge Introduces The Sanctuary Mobile Charging Solution
Bluelounge has introduced a mobile charging solution called The Sanctuary that is compatible with over 1,500 mobile devices. One part universal charger, and another part storage container, The Sanctuary aims to minimize the issue of finding a place to charge a device or store it when it not being used.
The Sanctuary features compatibility with devices from Palm, Apple, Samsung, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and several others. Connectors ranging from vendor specific to mini-USB and micro-USB come with this accessory, and it is a certified "Made for iPod" device.

Paragon Software Agrees to Offer Handy Weather on Motorola Smartphones
Meeting a common request to know what the weather will be, Paragon Software has signed an agreement with Motorola to offer its Handy Weather software on Motorola’s multimedia smartphones. These include Motorola’s UIQ models the Z8 and Z10.
Handy Weather uses the wireless Internet connection of smartphone devices to show a detailed forecast of the weather. Views can be customized to show weather for one or more cities. Because of the Internet connection, weather forecasts can happen at automatic or manual intervals.
Handy Weather will be offered as a three month trial. Users will then be invited to subscribe to the Handy Weather service for one year for an additional fee.

Palm Centro Released in Singapore
The Palm Centro has been a sales hit for Palm and continues the trend of global carrier releases with its introduction on the StarHub network in Singapore. StarHub is a GSM carrier and so this iteration of the Centro is the non-3G one, similar to the Palm Centro on AT&T.
