Additional information has leaked out on the HTC Firestone, a Windows phone expected to debut later this summer.
This unconfirmed report also says that this phone will debut with Windows Mobile 6.5, and may have an 8 megapixel camera.
What the Rumors Say
Information on the Firestone has been leaking out for much of this year.
According to these unconfirmed reports, this model will have a tablet shape, dominated by a 3.6-inch, WVGA touchscreen.
It will supposedly run Microsoft’s mobile operating system on a 600 MHz Qualcomm processor, and include 256 MB of RAM.
In addition, leaked spec sheets say this will be a quad-band GSM phone (850/900/1800/1900) with dual-band HSDPA (900/2100). This device’s wireless capabilities will supposedly also include Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR.
Other rumored features are a microSD card slot and AGPS.
HTC Firestone will reportedly be released for GSM networks in August, possibly in N. America.
