Recently, the first glimpse of the MiTAC Mio A201 became available. However, few details on this upcoming Pocket PC were known at that time.
Since then, though, GpsPasSion has been able to come up with some additional information on this GPS-enabled handheld, although it did not reveal its source.
It will reportedly run Windows Mobile 5.0, although what processor it will include, or how much memory it will have are not known at this time.
As expected, the Mio A201 will have a GPS antenna located on a hinge on its back.
Unlike previous Pocket PC models from MiTAC, this one’s 1,200 mAh battery will be swappable.
This will also be the first Mio model with built-in Bluetooth.
It is not known at this time when the Mio A201 will be released, or what it will cost.
A Smartphone, too
Reportedly, this will be the company’s first smartphone with built-in GPS functionality.
Currently, there are no other details available on this model.
