Late Thursday night, MacRumors published images reported to be of the inside of an assembled iPhone 5S and of the back shell of the smartphone. While most of what is seen in the images has been leaked previously, the images do shine light on some new details of the device.
First off, the images suggest the iPhone 5S will have a dual-LED flash, which would help it to capture better quality images in low-light situations. The images also show a 5.92 watt-hour battery, which is larger than the 5.45 watt-hour battery in the iPhone 5. There is also an unknown processor in the logic board.
The iPhone 5S is expected to be released this fall with the most recent analyst reports indicated an early October release date. Apple has not made any announcements regarding the device.
