New — but unconfirmed — information has emerged on three cellular-wireless devices HTC is expected to release later this year.

The first of these will reportedly have the code-name of Sirius, but when offered by HTC it will be called the P6500.

Some might find it interesting, as it will supposedly have a design that has gone out of favor with many device makers. It will have the tablet shape of a traditional handheld, but will include cellular-wireless capabilities.

It will sport a 3.5-inch touchscreen, but this will only have a QVGA resolution.

Reportedly, the Sirius will be a quad-band GSM phone with support for GPRS, EDGE, and some form of 3G. It will also have Wi-Fi.

This handheld is expected to run Windows Mobile 6 Professional on a 400 MHz Samsung processor and include a 2 megapixel camera.

The HTC Sirius is scheduled for release in August.

HTC Erato

Early this year, the first rumors surfaced of a smartphone that will replace the HTC Star Trek. There’s new information on this device, which will be code-named the Erato, and sold by HTC as the S420.

Like its predecessor, this model will supposedly have a clamshell form factor and a 2.4-inch QVGA display.

The Erato is expected to have a 400 MHz processor and Windows Mobile 6 Standard.

It should be a quad-band GSM phone with GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA support.

A SirfStarIII GPS receiver, FM radio, microSD slot, and 2 megapixel camera will round out this smartphone.

The HTC Erato is expected to debut in April.

The third of these upcoming models, the HTC Wings, will reportedly have a design somewhat similar to a number of other currently available devices: a tablet shape with a sliding keyboard. The Wings, though, will be somewhat unusual as it will also include a numberpad on its face.

This smartphone is expected to run Windows Mobile 6 Standard on a 400 MHz Samsung processor.

The Wings will supposedly be a quad-band GSM phone with support for GPRS, EDGE, and HSDPA. It will also include Wi-Fi.

In addition, it will sport a SirfStarIII GPS receiver and a 2 megapixel camera.

The HTC S730 should debut in July as the S730.
