New details have recently come to light about the HTC M7. This smartphone was not unveiled at CES this week, but rumors continue to circulate.

According to web publication HTC Source, the upcoming handset is being tested on Sprint’s LTE network, and is still on track for a Q1 launch.

The HTC M7 will reportedly be an all-black device, constructed with the same materials used in the HTC Droid DNA, and will feature the same traditional capacitive button layout we saw from HTC last year.

In addition, this handset will reportedly borrow design cues from the Droid DNA, with a beveled edge along the screen. The device is said to be comparable in size to HTC Evo 4G LTE, albeit longer and thinner.

As previously rumored, the HTC M7 is going to be powered by a quad-core processor. The device will also reportedly offer a 4.7-inch 1920 x 1080 display, with 32GB of internal storage, with no microSD card slot. The smartphone will also supposedly run Android 4.1.2 with an updated version of the HTC Sense user interface.
