HTC has confirmed that a less expensive version of their hit HTC One smartphone will be coming to select markets in early June. Available in black, red, white, and blue, the HTC One E8 will feature a polycarbonate shell as opposed to the brushed metal of the HTC One M8.
Similar to the HTC One M8, it will feature a 5-inch 1080p screen and will ship with Android KitKat 4.4.2. It will also feature a dual-SIM card option in some countries. The other major difference is the HTC One E8’s single-lens 13 megapixel rear facing camera, where the M8 boasts a dual-lens UltraPixel camera.
The HTC One E8 will be available in June 2014, though in which “select markets” and at what price point remains to be seen.
