New Quickoffice App for Android OS Supports Cloud-based Storage of Office Documents

Quickoffice has released a suite of apps that lets Android OS-based smartphones edit Microsoft Office files, as well as access them through a variety of online services, including Google Docs and Dropbox.

Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for Android OSQuickoffice Connect Mobile Suite supports viewing and editing Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, including Office 97-2008 file formats (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX). It also lets users view PDF files.

The app includes integrated access to remote cloud services: Apple MobileMe, Google Docs,, and Dropbox.

In addition, it allows users to open email attachments and side load files to the SD memory card. A file manager provides folder navigation for selection and movement of documents.
