LG Nexus 5Bad news for LG Nexus fans, as a follow-up to the well-received Nexus 4 seems unlikely.

In contrast to earlier reports, the handset manufacturer seems content to hold off on a new iteration of the device despite the Nexus 4 receiving high praises. According to a report spotted on AllAboutPhones, European VP Kim Wong noted that the success of the Nexus 4 was more than adequate, meaning that the company does not need another marketing success.

Wong noted that LG is still friendly with Google, but the company is staying away from the stock Android market for the time being. Rather, the LG has more interest in offering an experience based around its own skin for the OS instead of another stock Android device.
