It may have started out as a T-Mobile exclusive, but in just a couple of weeks, the Nokia Lumia 925 will be available to AT&T customers as well. The device will go on sale starting on September 13 for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.
The Lumia 925 was a T-Mobile variant of the Windows Phone 8-based Lumia 920, with its defining feature being its build, which was lightweight and sported a partially metal construction. The rest of its features were almost identical to that of the Lumia 920 (and its other carrier-specific variant, Verizon’s Lumia 928), including a 4.5-inch, 1280 x 768 PureMotion+ display with Gorilla Glass; an 8.7-megapixel, rear-facing camera; 1GB of RAM; 16GB of onboard storage; and a dual-core, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
If you’re especially excited to get your hands on the Lumia 925 on AT&T, the carrier will begin taking pre-orders for the device beginning tomorrow, August 28 through its website. For more information on the phone that started it all, the Lumia 920, be sure to check out our full review.
