Palm Pre Plus Available for $50 to New AT&T Subscribers

AT&T is asking $150 for the Palm Pre Plus, but new customers can get this smartphone for much less.

Palm Pre Plus from AT&TWireless carriers regularly offer special deals to new customers, hoping that discounts on phones will lure in additional subscribers. That’s why the Pre Plus is available for just $50 to those who are willing to switch carriers.

But carriers almost never advertise these deals on their own websites. Instead, these special sales are handled by other retailers. This particular deal is being offered now by Amazon.com.

Those who buy the Palm Pre Plus in an AT&T retail stores at full price get a free Palm Touchstone Charging Dock.

An Overview of the Palm Pre Plus
The smartphone is a slider with a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen, 16 GB of internal storage, and a 3.0 megapixel camera with LED flash.
