Palm is inching closer to releasing its long-promised, next-generation integrated wireless PDA, according to CNET News.com. The Palm i705 will reportedly have a built-in antenna and an SD expansion slot. An image of the device, which looks similar to the Handspring Visor Edge with a metallic case and rounded edges, appears to show four buttons that link to the Address Book, Date Book, MyPalm portal, and MultiMail Deluxe e-mail program, as well an e-mail indicator light. Several details are still unknown, including the release date, pricing for both the unit and the wireless service, and basic specifications such as processor speed and onboard memory. A Palm spokeswoman said that the company had no comment on the unannounced product. –John Morris, Handhelds View i705 specs
