PC World Picks its Top 10 PDAs

For its July issue, PC World has listed its choices for the ten best handhelds. There are equal numbers of Pocket PCs and Palms on the list, but the top four are all Pocket PCs.

Top honors go to HP’s iPAQ h4150. PC World says this “small, light Pocket PC has all the connectivity options you could want, and it handles wireless networking gracefully.”

In second place on PC World‘s list of the top PDAs is the ASUS MyPal A716, which it says “is loaded with memory, slots, and communications options.”

iPAQ h4350 This magazine’s third choice is the iPAQ h4350, a model quite similar to the h4150, but which includes a built-in keyboard and a larger battery.

Fourth on the list is the Toshiba e405. PC World says this “moderately priced business PDA has an elegant design, a useful launch page, and handy software extras.”

PC World‘s choice for the fifth best handheld is the Sony Clie PEG-TH55, which it says “is lovely to look at and a pleasure to hold, and it comes with loads of extra applications.”

The remaining five are the Toshiba e800, palmOne Zire 72, palmOne Tungsten E, palmOne Tungsten C, and palmOne Zire 31.
