Asus MyPal A620 shipping

MobilePlanet.com is now selling the english-language version of the Asus A620. While the A620 doesn’t look remarkable at first, it’s features are concealed within the specifications. It contains a 1300 milliamp-hour battery, a CompactFlash Type 2 slot, and the full standard memory and processor within a 0.5 inch thickness, and a $350 price tag. Almost as impressive is that reports have it solidly beating the current performance king, the iPaq 2210, in most benchmark tests, especially graphics.

It has come to our attention that www.proportable.com has the A620 in stock and has been selling them since late June. We’re in the process of negotiating a special price for bargainPDA.com readers, so stay tuned.

Handmark adaptation of Yahtzee

Handmark, guru of boardgame-to-handheld conversions, has taken aim at the dice-based classic Yahtzee.

iPaq 2200 screen may blank after reset

Enabling  4-digit PIN password may cause HP iPAQ 2200 models to go to a white screen on reset. For proper booting proceedures and how to deal with the issue, HP has put up a new page on the issue.
