Danger has gained FCC approval for their new color device which will go on sale this Summer.

We’ve been bringing you bits of news about the new color device Danger has been shopping. Up to this point, Danger has been calling the new color PDA a proof of concept, denying it’s the final design. Well, according to News.com, the picture we showed you earlier this month was for real. What’s more, the devices will be out this Summer on T-Mobile and a new partner, Triton PCS. More from News.com

Fossil has licensed Jot for it’s Palm OS powered watch line

We got to play with a few of Fossil’s new Palm OS watches at the CES and were quite impressed. They’ve come a long way since the first effort last year. Now they are looking to make data entry as simple as possible on those miniature screens by teaming with CIC, who makes the Jot input software.

We are delighted that a company so widely known for its innovation and design leadership has selected JotComplete to provide owners of the WRIST PDA the most simple and natural interaction possible, said Guido DiGregorio, CIC’s Chairman & CEO. Targeted for domestic and international distribution, Fossil has constructed a user interface convention with a feature set that we believe will be met with instant acceptance and usability worldwide.

The new breed of watches will be available this Summer, online and through retail outlets like regional department stores.
