Memory Stick Pro Duo

As part of their ongoing effort to Balkanize the successful Memory Stick format, Sony has created a new, miniaturized ‘Duo’ version of it’s Memory Stick Pro, to be called appropriately enough, Memory Stick Pro Duo. The new cards are intended to offer cellular phones and digital camcorders up to a limit of 512 MB of memory, increased from 128 MB in the previous Memory Stick Duo. This makes the fifth different type of Memory sticks available.


Toshiba e355 for $199 shipped

Amazon.com is stocking the Toshiba e355 for $199 with free shipping, nearly $75 cheaper than other outlets. The e355 features Windows Mobile 2003, SDIO, and an ultra-slim design.

The French site of European telecom company Orange has a page which features information on the new Sony-Ericsson P810. The page is in French, but you don’t have to know the language to get the idea.



Tungsten|T reduced to $300

Palm’s online store appears to be clearing out their inventory of Tungsten|T handhelds at $300. This isn’t a bad price, since the TT elsewhere only goes as low as $275, and the Palm store is offering a free Veo SD camera card (with mail-in form), which you could certainly sell to recoup your $25.
