For a first effort, this game is amazing! Medieval Heros is a fun and very hard Risk-type RTS game.

I installed this software and played it non-stop for almsot two hours without even noticing. The best part? I got my butt kicked on the easy level every time. The fun factor is certainly there for RTS fans. From the site:

“Medieval Heroes” takes place in the provinces of Central Europe during the 14th century. In this ancient time period, the Holy Roman Empire was divided into numerous small independent provinces. Though the king sat on the royal throne, he had little real power to oversee his country. The local territorial lords ruled their territorial provinces and they continuously fought amongst each other for sole possession of the Empire.

This is their first game and only version 1.0, but so far so good. Definitely take the time to try their free demo.

Jeyo has released a software to let users control their PC through a supported Bluetooth phone

Jeyo, Inc. today announced the release of Jeyo Remote, a next generation PC remote control application for Sony Ericsson mobile phones. The software eliminates the need for separate, single-purpose remote control devices by empowering users’ existing mobile phones with seamless remote capabilities. By exploiting the built-in Bluetooth capabilities of Sony Ericsson T68i, T68, T39 and R520 phones, Jeyo Remote enables users of these phones to operate their PCs wirelessly from anywhere within Bluetooth range at home or at work, without needing to be in direct line sight of their computers.

The Jeyo Remote application is powerful yet simple to install and easy to use. It requires only a straightforward Windows setup on a PC and, because the software transmits the phone’s user interface in real time over Bluetooth, there is no need to install anything on the phone itself. Jeyo Remote can remotely control any Windows application, and also displays feedback for some, such as WinAMP, directly on the phone’s screen. This enables users to browse their MP3 lists, play and pause tracks, and have complete freedom to control music on their PCs from anywhere within Bluetooth range.

“We’re very excited to introduce what we believe is the leading remote control software for Sony Ericsson mobile phones,” says Jeyo, Inc. Founder and President Joshua Carroll. “Like most people, I carry my phone with me everywhere. And now that means wherever I happen to be while at home or work, I have control over my PC.”

Jeyo Remote comes with pre-defined remote commands that work with the Windows operating systems and over twenty popular applications (including PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and WinAMP). In addition, Jeyo Remote’s Command Manager enables quick and easy customization of remote commands for any application.

I’ve contacted their PR people to see if a Palm or Pocket PC version is in the works, I’ll be sure to report back. For now, check out Jeyo’s site for more info.
