New Treo 270s for $69 with activation

Amazon.com has reduced the price of the Treo 270, bringing it down to $69 via a $100 Amazon rebate and additional $100 rebate with activation of a valid T Mobile service plan.

HP has another WLAN update for iPaq 5400

5450 users rejoyce, HP now has a firmware update available that will allow you to connect to 802.11g routers. It also adds LEAP authentication client support. You must have the 1.11.xx ROM installed before applying this firmware update.

AvantGo for OS 5 finalized

After no less than 83 beta versions, AvantGo has finally decided that they have something that works, and has declared that AvantGo 5.2, build 83 is now the ‘production’ version. Some users, however, are still unhappy about some of the flaws in the program particularly speed when syncing data. Given recent performance by the company, don’t wait up for a fix.
