As we told you in early January, HP is working on a replacement to the poorly designed iPAQ h6315. According to rumors, the new iPAQ hw6500 is going to be demonstrated at the 3GSM World Congress which starts on the 14th of this month.
This design is consistent with the tidbits we gathered at the CES. The integrated keyboard is a huge step forward in design and usability. The hw6500 is thought to include Bluetooth and WiFi, along with support for GSM, GPRS and EDGE. These signs point to a release on the Cingular network. Unfortunately if history hold true, it will take forever to get certified, meaning a late summer release at best. The back of the device shows a user replaceable batter and an integrated camera with light.
