Pocket Streets Now Available for Windows Mobile Smart Phones

Microsoft has released Pocket Streets 1.0 for Windows Mobile smart phones. This provides street-level maps, including addresses, intersections, and points of interest such as ATMs, restaurants, hotels, and automotive service centers.

Smart Phone version of Pocket Streets Users can download maps of the United States, Canada, and Western Europe from the Pocket Streets web site or generate their own with MapPoint, Streets & Trips, or AutoRoute. Find Address and Find Place functions are included, and partial addresses are supported.

Compatible devices include the Mio 8380, Motorola MPx200, Orange SPV, Orange SPV E100, Orange SPV E200, Qtek 7070, and Samsung i600.

The application requires Microsoft ActiveSync 3.6 or later and 350K of Storage space on the device. A memory expansion card is recommended for map storage.”
