Pocket Tunes Version 4.0 Released
NormSoft, makers of the very popular Palm OS music program Pocket Tunes, has announced that version 4.0 is now available.
This new version sports a brand new interface, a shareable Internet radio catalog, album art support, and support of AAC/aacPlus formatted files and streaming audio.
Adding to the feature improvements are increased audio quality when listening to both Internet radio and on-board music. Pocket Tunes is seemingly upping the abilities of Palm OS PDAs to be quality competitors to dedicated music players.
At the same time, this application does not offer something users have been asking for: full support for Windows Media Player 11.
Many should be familiar with Pocket Tunes because it came bundled with their handheld or smartphone made by Palm, Inc.
Pricing and Availability
First time purchasers of Pocket Tunes can expect to pay $37.95, which includes free updates for all version 4.0 update releases. Those who own a copy of Pocket Tunes (Basic, Deluxe, or the Bundle) will have to pay $12.95 to $29.95 to upgrade.
