T-Mobile USA is expected to launch two more smartphones in the near future, and though it hasn’t officially announced what it is going to charge for the HTC HD2 and the Motorola Cliq XT, an unofficial report reveals these prices.
As had been expected, the Cliq XT will will have a lower price: $120 with contract or $330 without.
More on the HTC HD2
The HTC HD2 will run Windows Mobile 6.5 on a 1 GHz processor, and sport a 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive display with multi-touch support. It will come with a 16 GB microSD memory card and a 5 MPx camera.
Although T-Mobile USA has made no secret of its plans to offer this smartphone, it has been vague about exactly when, just saying the launch will be in the spring. However, unconfirmed reports say it will hit the market later this month.
Like its sister model, it will have a 3.2-inch HVGA (320 by 240 pixel) touchscreen, but this one will use a tablet shape without a hardware keyboard.
The Cliq XT is definitely going to be released this month, and reportedly will launch on March 10, though that hasn’t yet been confirmed.
Much in Common
Despite their disparate operating systems, these smartphones will have many similarities.
For example, both will have support for T-Mobile 3G mobile broadband network, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. They will also include microSD memory card slots and GPS receivers.
