A new review has been posted to the site by yours truly, here’s the intro or check out the entire review by clicking this link Last fall Compaq released its 3800 series of devices. The new devices were given a lot of hype from both Microsoft, maker of the new Pocket PC 2002 OS running on the Compaq iPaq 3800 series, and of course by Compaq itself. So was the hype warranted? Well, I ll save the suspense now by telling you a qualified YES . The Compaq 3800 line is a very intriguing and powerful device series. It is also a very expensive device, the 3835/3850 iPaq (same PDA but different model numbers based on where the device is sold) has an MSRP of $599.99 and the 3870, which is exactly the same as the 3835/3850 device but with Bluetooth capability, will set you back about $649.99 (ouch!).
