Sam’s Club to offer Samsung Galaxy S III for $1 on Black Friday

Black FridaySam’s Club, the members-only chain owned and operated by Walmart, joined the Black Friday frenzy today with its sales leaking onto the internet. In line with the Best Buy offer revealed earlier this week; Sam’s Club will also offer the Samsung Galaxy S III at a discounted price. However, while Best buy is set to offer the Samsung handset for $50, Sam’s Club is looking to sell the device for merely $1.

Unfortunately Sam’s Club will not operate like a dollar menu this Black Friday, as there are some additional details to consider. To opt for the deal, consumers will need to purchase the device in store, and sign up for a two-year contract with a data plan.

Additionally, the fine print in the advert also notes that the carrier models available will vary store to store. Thus, consumers looking to take advantage of this deal on Black Friday should call ahead to make sure the carrier model they desire is available. The Galaxy S III is available from a wide array of carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon.

The ad states that this sale will take effect on Nov. 23 at 7am. With the Sam’s Club sales now revealed, consumers can likely expect the rest of Walmart’s Black Friday deals to quickly follow suite.
