Samsung released invitations to the media on Monday for a press conference on September 4 in Berlin Germany, putting the company’s “Unpacked” event just ahead of the start of the IFA annual trade show. Samsung will be expected to unveil a number of devices at the show, but the most notable of the expected devices is the company’s long-rumored Galaxy Note III phablet.
The new smartphone will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor or an eight-core Exynos 5 Octo chip (depending on the region), 3 GB of RAM, and Android Jelly Bean OS. With wearable tech being the new craze, there is also speculation that suggests Samsung will unveil a new Galaxy Gear smartwatch at the event, along with a number of new tablet models.
While Samsung has not officially declared that it will reveal the Galaxy Note III at the event, the company did write on its invitations that we should “Note” the September 4 date.
