Samsung’s larger than life handset, the Galaxy Mega 6.3, may be making its way to US Cellular in the near future. On Monday, well-known Twitter account @evleaks claimed that the handset would indeed make be making its way to the U.S. carrier.
As its name suggests, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is humongous, offering a 6.3-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and a 233ppi. Originally announced back in April, the device runs Android OS 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box and is equipped with a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 8 or 16 GB of internal memory with microSD support.
Unfortunately additional information regarding the exact release date and pricing options are still unknown. Neither US Cellular nor Samsung has confirmed officially these rumors, but considering that the information comes from @evleaks — which has had a long-running propensity for providing accurate information — there may be some validity to these claims.
