As mainstream smartphones get ever larger, Samsung is reportedly going to keep pushing up the size of its phablets. As such, its Galaxy Mega devices are really going to skirt the line between phones and tablets.
There supposedly will be two models in this new line, one with a 5.8-inch screen and another with a 6.3-inch display. Even the smaller of these will be larger than Samsung’s current phablet, the Galaxy Note II (pictured at right), which has a 5.3-inch screen.
Unlike the Note series, the Mega models are not expected come with the S Pen stylus. They will be just small tablets that can make voice calls. No other details on these devices have leaked out yet.
These tablet/phones are going to be introduced this summer, according to SamMobile. There is no word yet on pricing.
