Customers of the Samsung Galaxy Note will be ecstatic to hear that the Android OS 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update has started to roll out to users today.

The update won’t reach to all customers immediately, as folks with the AT&T version of the phablet will most likely have to wait until after the carrier is completed with testing. According to a few reports, the update is being sent out to users in the Netherlands and in Germany, with no word on when it’ll be available for U.S. customers.

Samsung Galaxy Note Android OS 4.0 Features
The Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy Note will have all of the basic features that could be found throughout devices that run the operating system. However, Samsung announced that the smartphone/tablet will also be receiving a “Premium Suite” with the update that includes a handful of extra multimedia features.

The Premium Suite highlights S Note, a unique tool that lets users combine notes and sketches with other digital content that can be easily shared. It also includes features such as Shape Match, which helps correct and digitalize geometric shapes, Formula Match, which helps solve numeric formulas that were hand-drawn with the S Pen, and My Story, an app designed to create personalized cards.

Additionally, Samsung will offer an exclusive level in Angry Birds Space as well as 30 levels of Danger Zone for free.
