Samsung Galaxy S IV Features Coming Soon to Galaxy S III
Samsung previously announced that it would bring features from its new flagship Galaxy S IV to its older Galaxy S III counterpart. Now it seems the company is making good on those claims, as SamMobile recently released details on a leaked version of the upcoming Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the Galaxy S III.
The report indicated that the update will bring several features from Samsung’s new flagship device over to the S III, including the new version of S-Voice, a new settings UI that features a tabbed interface, and the Galaxy S IV’s new lock screen system. The update is expected to roll out to Galaxy S III owners starting in June.
Samsung also previously noted that any new Galaxy S IV features that are not hardware reliant will also be brought to its other devices, such as the Galaxy Note line.
