Several variants of Samsung’s widely popular Galaxy S IV flagship smartphone are slated to hit the market in the coming months including the S IV Mini, a ruggedized version of the handset dubbed the S IV Active, and the S IV Zoom. Though it has yet to be officially announced, the latter was outed earlier today after a slip-up.
The Kazakhstan branch of Samsung appears to have accidentally mentioned the Zoom on a webpage intended to focus on its VIP service. Among other unannounced items like the Galaxy Note III and the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, the Zoom was mentioned by both its name and model number, SM-C1010.
Reports indicate the S IV Zoom will have a 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom and image stabilization. The device is also rumored to feature a 4.3-inch qHD display and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Official confirmation and the unveiling of the device by Samsung is expected to happen at the company’s upcoming press conference on June 20.
