As it stands now, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is an international-only phone and is not available on any US carriers. But if a set of recently-leaked images are any indication, that’s set to change when the Galaxy S4 Mini heads to Verizon Wireless.
Pictures of the shrunken version of Samsung’s flagship handset were recently leaked by Engadget, sporting not only Verizon’s logo on the back, but also the carrier’s splash screen during its boot sequence. An additional shot of the phone’s “About phone” menu indicated that the device’s model number was SCH-I435, the same model number that just popped up on Bluetooth’s SIG site recently and is said to be a Verizon smartphone.
Though the anonymous tipster sent in the images to Engadget, the source did not provide any additional details about the phone’s release on the wireless carrier. As such, it is unknown how much Verizon intends to charge for the Galaxy S4 Mini, nor do we know exactly when it’s going to be released.
