Samsung NEXiO PDA designed for the mobile Internet user (pictures)

Samsung has been showing off their NEXiO line of PDA’s, most recently at a show outside of Paris yesterday. They feature Windows CE and an amazing 800 x 480 VGA screen and integrated WiFi.

It seems the NEXiO is currently being sold in Korea and there is no word of a US release, although a European model seems quite close. News outlets in France covering the show indicate a release may be near at 1,000 Euros.

Honestly, I’m just happy to see a PDA shift the browsing experience to landscape. The Web is designed to accomodate monitors which are wider than they are tall. Glad to see someone in the PDA world decided to remember this fact. The NEXiO also includes a few Sony-esque software tools like a universal remote.

While we wait to see if this device will make it to the US, here are the known features and specs:
