SanDisk has released a new driver for its Connect Plus 128MB + Wi-Fi CompactFlash card, bringing Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC support to this card for the first time.

However, infoSync is reporting that this driver isn’t compatible with the Dell Axim X5.

The new driver can be found on SanDisk’s web site.

More About Connect Plus 128MB + Wi-Fi CompactFlash Card

This CompactFlash card combines flash memory and wireless access into a single peripheral. It is ideal for handhelds with just a single CompactFlash slot or users who would just like a bit more storage.

It can be used with handhelds running Pocket PC 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003. It also comes with a PC Card adapter that allows it to be used in a Windows laptop.

Its suggested retail price is $130, but lists companies selling it for as low as $78.

SanDisk announced earlier this year it was planning to release a version of this card with 256 MB of memory, but this has been delayed.
