A few months ago, SoftMaker said it was working on a Palm OS version of TextMaker, its word processor. Now the company is looking for feedback on whether to create versions of this application for additional platforms.

The company has posted a poll on its site asking if there is interest in versions of TextMaker, PlanMaker, and SoftMaker Office for a wide variety of platforms and devices, including Palm OS, Zaurus, Sony Ericsson P800 and P900, and many more.

TextMaker is a full-featured word processor that supports reading and writing of Microsoft Word documents in their native formats, as well as RTF and HTML. It also supports embedded images, tables, footnotes, forms, and much more. PlanMaker is a Microsoft Excel-compatible spreadsheet currently in development.

The poll can be found on the SoftMaker web site.
