Amazon’s e-book reader lets you buy books from almost anywhere and then read them on a large, easily viewable screen. This second-generation model brings a number of improvements, with a higher contrast screen, a slimmer, lighter design, longer battery life and faster page turns. It is only available from Amazon itself.
