Sony Xperia Z on Its Way to T-Mobile

Sony Xperia ZOn Tuesday T-Mobile announced that the Sony’s newest flagship handset, the Sony Xperia Z will soon join the company’s Android lineup.

T-Mobile will offer the smartphone on its Simple Choice Plan with no annual service contract, featuring unlimited talk and text with the option for unlimited data on the company’s 4G and 4G LTE (where available) networks.

T-Mobile has hinted that consumers can expect the Sony Xperia Z at T-Mobile brick and mortar stores, select nationwide retailers, and online via in the “coming weeks.” The device will be available in traditional black finish and limited-time only purple finish while supplies last. T-Mobile has yet to disclose any details regarding pricing.

About the Sony Xperia Z

The Sony Xperia Z offers a 5-inch 1080p HD Reality Display, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage with microSD support.  The device runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) and houses a 16MP rear-facing camera.
